Hi everyone,

My name is Jed Roque and I am from Liverpool, England. If I were to look at myself now from when I was younger, I couldn’t have imagined that I would be playing volleyball. I started around late 2022 and since then I have loved the sport.

This July 15–19, I’ve been given the chance to represent Fil-Euro-Nation in a tournament in Philippines, where we compete with many high level athletes from across the world.

This opportunity means the world to me, to be able to compete in this tournament, meeting new people and to expand my view about how others play is something I want to be able to experience. This is also a perfect chance if not my only chance to showcase my skills and potentially be seen by scouts, helping me move closer to my dream of playing volleyball at a high level internationally or even back home in the Philippines.

To take part, I need to raise £1000, which will cover my player registration, training costs, and tournament kit, as well as accommodation and transport to and from venues.
