FijiLIFE Charity Container #1
Dear FijiLIFE Foundation Donors,
FijiLIFE Foundation Limited (FLF) is an ambitious charity with a grand but simple goal: to ensure a happy and better life for poor and disadvantaged people in Fiji. We ask for your donations to cover shipping costs of our first Charity Container from Adelaide to Suva, Fiji that will be loaded/shipped in November or December 2021.
FijiLIFE Foundation charity containers will contain medical and educational equipment gifted to us by Donations in Kind (DIK) Rotary, in Adelaide. DIK is a major recycling operation, run by volunteers, that gives suitable goods to people in need, for free. The DIK project is a practical and cost-effective way to help people in developing countries.
The project in Adelaide is led by FijiLIFE Foundation Director, Gus Raddock, who, from 3rd June, 1999 to 10th May, 2015 organised the shipment of 22 containers of medical and educational equipment from Adelaide to Suva, on behalf of DIK and the Fiji Association of South Australia Incorporated (FASA).
The consignee and unloading in Fiji will be handled by Mr Paul McGoon, President, Viti Spinal Injuries Association (VSIAF), a registered Fiji Charity. Paul, who established VSIAF on the 18th of August, 2007 after a conversation with Gus Raddock, will arrange the disbursement of medical and educational equipment to VISAF and other Fiji charities in accordance with their requests.
The unloading and distribution of the contents of this container will be featured on the VSIAF and FLF websites upon arrival in Fiji.
FijiLIFE Foundation wishes to acknowledge former GoFundMe donors to the 2019 Fiji-Adelaide Charity Project, many of whom have avidly supported the shipment of many previous containers to Fiji.
Thank you from FijiLIFE Foundation Limited.
