Fiji Family Project
Donation protected
I’m aiming to raise funds to send a shipping container full of donated goods to assist a small impoverished village, located in the interior of Fiji.
My plan is to help the children of Bainimarama Vatutoko Primary school by improving their educational outcomes and opportunities and in turn also improving the living conditions for these children and their families. The beautiful people from this area, like many other remote villages in Fiji, have no source of income, have no electricity or hot water, live in inadequate/unliveable housing, can’t afford clothing or shoes, toothbrush’s, deodorant or sanitary products and have no access to medical or dental care.
I have been blessed to have the support of the Gwandalan Lions Club and my local community in assisting my dream of improving the quality of life for as many Fijians as we can. So now with thanks to all who have helped and donated we have: clothing, shoes, linen, personal care products. football boots and jerseys, school books, whiteboards, overhead projectors, 2 smart tvs, a saddle, first aid supplies, a defib machine, a lawn mower, and 2 organs and we are now fully loaded and the container is ready to go!!!!
I’m hoping for financial assistance in order to get the shipping container over to Fiji. Since covid the shipping costs have doubled and this is making it more difficult to raise the money that’s needed. If you can help or know anyone who can please show them this page so I can reach my goal of $12000 to help our Fijian friends and families across the pacific.
