IC Bruisers Support

IC Bruisers is the Iowa City area's first JUNIOR roller derby league. We are a FREE program for all kids in the area up to age 17. 

Roller derby has tremendous benefits for the kids who play: it boosts confidence, instills discipline, develops leadership skills, and maintains physical fitness, all while promoting healthy body attitudes and comraderie. Keeping the program free allows us to extend these benefits to low-income groups, who tend to benefit the most from programs like IC Bruisers. We need your help to keep this going.

We are raising funds to become an official Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) league, purchase insurance for skaters, and purchase uniforms. Becoming an official JRDA league allows us to become a non-profit organization. This requires supplemental insurance for each skater, and uniforms for competition.
