Figure Drawing Models Out of Work

I'd like to help figure/portrait models whose income has come to a sudden stop.
I’m a professional artist who teaches drawing, painting, and sculpture classes in Chicago. I hire models to pose in my classes, as well as in my own studio as part of my artistic practice. With the closing of schools and cultural spaces, all current classes were cancelled. I compensated the models who were scheduled to pose for my current class sessions that were cancelled in March. But others were scheduled to work in the upcoming sessions in April, May, and June—and those are also now cancelled. For my April classes alone, 7 models committed to pose for figure and portrait drawing classes.
This GoFundMe is to raise funds for these models to help cover their pay for the April, May, and June 2020 cancelled classes. Your generosity will help them pay rent, utilities, food, and other daily expenses while they safely stay at home to wait out the current pandemic emergency. My goal is to raise $2,500, to be paid directly to the 7 models who had committed to my cancelled classes. Any funds raised over the goal will be distributed to additional models whom I may not have hired for the upcoming cancelled classes, but have worked with in the past, and could now use our help.
