"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." R. Caras
Shadow is our sweet 5-year-old Australian shepherd. Like most aussies, he loves doing the wiggle and following us everywhere around the house. Shadow especially loves being in the outdoors and having company all around him. He is clingy, but we are needy. He brought nothing but joy and love to our families and home. Shadow helped me in my sickness, and its time that I return that favor to him.
Few weeks ago, we realized that his lymph nodes were fairly enlarged. Then out of the blue, we were hit with the most devastating news; Shadow has stage 4 malignant lymphoma cancer. This disease is incurable, fast-spreading, and unforgiving if not treated. The oncologist stated that with chemotherapy, he will have a chance to live out the year and maybe more. Without it, this infectious disease will take his life within 2 months.
Shadow has been a huge part of our lives. To stay up to date with Shadow's journey through lymphoma, you can find that on my instagram account @shaaadow_radoh or through #shadowfightscancer
I plan to log his journey from this point on in hopes to help and connect with others dealing with the canine cancer lymphoma.
Our hearts breaks for all who experience and suffer this relentless disease. With any leftover funds, Shadow will help other dogs combat cancer.
With love and gratitude,
Tammy and Kevin
