Stage 4 Terminal Bowel Cancer

Donation protected
Warren (aka 'Waz' + 'The Hammer') Carloff has been fighting Cancer since 2010, when as a fit and strong 31 year old he was first diagnosed with Bowel Cancer.

In September last year Waz was diagnosed with stage 4 Terminal Metastisised Bowel Cancer to the Brain, Adrenal Gland and Lung. In the past 6 months, Waz has had 4 brain surgeries, undergone stereo tactic brain Radiation, whole head brain radiation and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

The Doctors will look at removing the tumours in the adrenal gland and lung as the tumours appear that they are stabalized in the brain.

Waz is a happily married man with 3 young kids, Connor 9, sienna 7 & Nate 6,  he has put himself in harms way in his career in the Australian Federal Police (AFP) Specialist Response Group (SRG), and since being diagnosed with Cancer has done work with the Cancer Council to help raise awareness of Bowel Cancer and Early Detection.

Waz has taken care of the practical things to ensure the future of his wife and his kids, but this hasn’t left much over for the fun things and for creating some amazing memories for his children.

Donations will be used to purchase a campervan/trailer to take a number of mini-adventures in-between treatments and start making some memories as soon as possible. If you can assist with this, please let us know via our Facebook page (link below).

Or if you can donate or do anything to enable Waz to create some amazing family memories, please contact us and we can arrange for it to occur.

Please share Waz's story with your friends, family and anyone you think can help Waz reach this goal. It may seem a cliche, but every little bit helps.

You can read more of Waz's story on the Facebook Page and stay up to date with "The Fight of 'The Hammer'"

" It doesn’t matter how BIG, STRONG, TOUGH or FIT,  you think you are; CANCER does NOT and will NOT discriminate."

*My name is Sal Scarce, I went to school with Waz from year 1-12 and have not seen him since our 10 year high-school reunion (10 years ago now).
However I have been watching Waz's fight from the sidelines via Facebook,  following Waz's journey with complete hope and some helplessness.
The strength and determination he has shown has inspired awe and respect in both myself and my husband Tim. Waz regurlarly posts his treatment photo's and he is (almost) always smiling and giving his trademark 'thumbs up', his attitude of strength and determination to fight this disease and to watch his kids grow is both inspiring and humbling.

Thanks for reading - Sal
