Mango, the leader of the we.farted crew has fallen on some hard times. Mango is 11 years old.
2 years ago he survive cancer.
1 year ago he was diagnosed with vestibular diease.

In the past couple weeks, Mango has not been eating. He would take treats here and there and drink tons of water. I took him in to see his vet thinking he would be prescribed some meds and he would be sent on his way home. Mango ended up staying at the animal hospital from Friday to next week Wednesday. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis and congestive heart diease. His protein levels are low, which is causing him to have fluids in his lungs and his instestines are inflamed. His doctor did all that he could for Mango and said being home may help speed his recovery. Mango is currently taking 6 different types of medication daily.
The first day home Mango again didn't eat. The second day home, he had some steak and sweet potato. The third day home, he had smoked salmon. The fourth day home, he had rostisserie chicken. Then on Saturday, we went back to see his doctor and reported that Mango seemed to be doing ok and that he started to eat! If you have seen our videos on Instagram, you would see Mango eating. After such a strong couple days of eating, Mango is starting to lose his appetite and he's currently not eating anything, only drinking water. He is due back to see his doctor on Friday and they will run tests to see if his levels are doing any better.
I have spent thousands at the animal hospital and tons on food and supply. I tried to carry this on my own with the help of my roommate but it's getting tough on me financially and physically. I have not slept well in weeks - waking up to in the middle of the night to take Mango out to do his business and to make sure that he's breathing.
If you know me, I HATE asking for help. I am a prideful person and think I can handle everything on my own. I know I can't and I put up a good front pretending I can. Many friends and family asked me to put a gofundme page so that you can help. I refused but I am at the point where I don't know what to do anymore. My number goal is to help make Mango feel normal again. My end goal is to get him back to normal so he can stay around for a lot longer. So I am asking for help. Please know, if you do help out, it's because you want to and not because I am forcing you to help.
This is how Mango used to look.

This is how Mango looks today.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and thank you for incouraging me to try EVERYTHING to keep my best friend around. Without your incouraging words telling me to fight, I don't know what I would do.
With all the love from my heart and the kids. I can't thank you enough.
