This is Bianca Palermo. I am writing this as one of the many people who know and love her. She has triple negative, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, (breast cancer). Bianca is a fighter. She is an old soul with strong drive. She is working toward becoming a doctor of psychology in social sciences and research. She aced her first two years of college with a 4.0, made the deans list twice and the president's list. This earned her a scholarship at Webster where she has one semester to finish her bachelor's degree. SHE is the most loving person I have ever known. Never negative and always there for a friend, be it four legged or two. She is very sensitive and very strong. To know her is to love her. There is no middle ground, everyone who knows her loves her and she loves back. Truly one of those old souls people are attracted to. Bianca has just finished her first 4 chemo treatments and has another 4 to go before surgery. Because of a gene mutation, Bianca has to have a double mastectomy. No options there. There will likely be radiation and more chemo after surgery. Chemo is working well on her, the tumor has already gone from 6.5 cm to 1.0 cm. Her prognosis is very good. Bianca is beating cancer. Right now, she could use some help. The portion of the bills that insurance doesn't cover are mounting. The chemo treatments have caused her to miss a great deal of work.
