Once upon a time there was a beautiful woman named Rebecca.  Rebecca and her husband lived a simple life with their two young children.  Rebecca has spent her adult life spreading sunshine and positive energy to  high school students, never balking at even the most challenging students.

During the summer, Rebecca always looks forward to filling each day with songs and adventures for her own babies. In the summer of 2015, after spending a rainy day outside with her little girl, Rebecca found a painful lump during a breast self exam. On August 2, Rebecca was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Usually at this point in a fairy tale, the woman is saved by a handsome prince. Instead, Princess Rebecca is #fightinglikeamommy to win her fight against cancer.

Currently, Rebecca is half way through chemo and is scheduled to have surgery in mid January. 

Out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance are adding up quickly for the family. Right now, Rebecca needs our help to cover the medical bills rolling in, as well as paying general household expenses. The woman who spends her life helping others needs us.
