Our sister Jaimie is fighting a battle with Breast Cancer. Her first surgery is coming up on June 24, 2013. The medical bills, which are already piling up, are causing her more stress than the cancer itself at this point. Three doctor's offices called yesterday - all wanting money up front before she has her surgery. Her deductible is $5,000, and even after that the insurance company will only pay 80% in most cases. The fees are overwhelming. We want her to worry ONLY about her health right now, not her impending medical bills and the possibility of losing her home.
