Fighting with NF - No Fear

My name is Dhorizin i go by Dora, i am 28 years young and currently fighting Neurofibromatosis type1 also knows as NF1.
For those who do not know what NF is. It is a genetic disorder that affect 1 in every 3000 people, Yes 1 in 3000 you probably know someone who has it and you have no idea. We are quite sneaky!
It affects your nervous system causing little tumours to grow right underneath the skin or over it, meaning your whole body. This means depending on where the tumours choose to grow any part of you body could potentially be affected. There is two types of NF type 1 and type 2 and in encourage you to read maybe you will be able to spot us in the crowd and know about it.
I was diagnosed as a baby and when i turned 8 i had a MIRACULOUS 22 hour surgery that well, I was not supposed to be able to write this today.
I am grateful for being here sharing my story, if you follow me on instagram @dhoqu or just search my name you will know I do not want to be perfect. I want everyone who has neurofibromatosis to feel beautiful and unique in their own skin. I want all the little girls and boys to grow up empowered and know that having NF does not define who they are. This is not for a make over surgery. This is just to remove the tumours that are genuinely causing me a lot of pain.
I have had a few tumours growing for many years and have tried to get them removed because they are very painful, and are bigger than regular sized ones that do not cause much discomfort.
Unfortunately under the current guidelines i have to pay to remove each single one because it is considered cosmetic surgery and I cannot afford it. I have been in pain for many years now u able to wear certain clothes or shoes because of the tumours which is about 10 of them that I want to remove. The other one are fine as they are not causing much pain. I had heard about go fund me before but I felt guilty asking people for help when there may be others that need it more than me, but I said lets give it a try.....and so here I am trying.
I cant wear a lot of types of clothes because they are uncomfortable and make the tumours itchy or irritated, and shoes have to be opened at the top and that is becoming harder to do at winter time, as i have to wear boots and that really causes a lot of pain.
I will post pics before and after surgery and update everyone on my instagram so that other people that may be in pain may see what can be done. So come on the journey with me. And if you want to know more details of my previous surgery please feel free to ask.
