Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am creating this page for my incredible sister, Amy, and her loving family.

Amy is the heart of our family—a devoted wife to Phil, and the most amazing mother to their two beautiful daughters, River and Lennon. She is known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love, and now she is pouring all of that strength into the fight of her life.

Amy's Courageous Journey

Since January 2024, Amy has been bravely facing the challenging reality of melanoma. Her journey has been relentless, involving multiple surgeries and intense treatments including immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted brain radiation.

The past few weeks have been particularly difficult. Two weeks ago, Amy experienced a worrying loss of function in her left leg, which brought her back to the hospital. While there, she suffered a seizure, likely caused by swelling in her brain from previous radiation treatments.

This quickly led to her admission to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where she has just completed a grueling course of 9 full brain radiation treatments.

Amy and Phil, along with River and Lennon, are remaining incredibly hopeful and united as they continue to fight. While the road ahead is uncertain and the prognosis is unclear, one thing is certain: they are not giving up.
