Hi, I am Nikole Wood. I am fundraising for one of my team members who has been diagnosed with a rare cancerous tumor called a Carcinoid Tumor in her lung (less than 20k cases a year in the US), which is also collapsed. Today she will be going in for surgery where they will not only remove the tumor but also most if not all of her lung that is affected.

Cindy has worked for Blondie's Salon for 5 years now and in that time I have grown to love this young, sweet, joyful spirit. My heart hurts to know that as of today it will be months before I get to see her smile as we walk into the salon. At our salon, we are a family and we support one another as we walk through good and bad times. This is a bad time. Cindy will not only have medical bills, but she will also be off of work for at least 2 months. I am hoping as. a community we can raise enough so that she can concentrate on healing and rehabilitation and not her bills. If you feel led to give you are appreciated.
