Fighting to save a child…

A very close family friend of ours has discovered the father of her child has been sexually abusing her. DCFS is involved and an emergency safety plan has been established by the court.

However, she is responsible for attorney fees. AND SHE NEEDS OUR HELP. She has retained an attorney specifically for this emergency.

We are uncertain at this time what will need to be done to make the safety plan permanent. But, any funds collected will be used only for attorney fees.

I was in the room holding her mother’s hand when this precious child was born. I am intimately aware of what has happened, and I have been fighting side by side with her mom to keep her safe.
