On May 24th this year I will be stepping into the boxing ring again after 16 years at Zuidas Business Boxing to raise money for ‘Fight Cancer’. Last summer when my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer I found out how little progress has been made in treating this aggressive form of cancer over the last decade. The prognosis for many patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer is only a few months, and the chances of finding a cure are slim.
