Please Help Us Keep Our Home A Bit Longer

Hi! We really need your help. Recently, my partner and I have fallen on hard times and have been drowning trying to figure it out. I am a UX Designer, and she is a content creator. I haven’t been able to secure a job for over two years, while she has had to get SSDI due to injuries and illnesses that we are also trying to overcome. As a result, our money has dried up. Bills are piling up faster than we can pay them, and now we are about to lose our home. This is particularly bad not just because of her SSDI, but we also have animals that would be displaced. This just cannot happen.

I really do feel like I’ve tried everything. Endless applying and interviewing but nothing ever works out. I’m just really at my wits end and am running completely out of options. Right now I am working as a delivery driver to keep money coming in. It’s something until something works out.

We want to move to a cheaper place to live, but we can’t do that if we are homeless. So what I am asking is for some help with some of our most pressing bills so that we can buy ourselves time to pack up, find a place, save up a bit, and leave.

Specifically, we would love help paying rent to court during our appeal. We have to pay $1,510 by the 8th to not be put out. Our appeal was filed on the 29th, and that just is not enough time for me to come up with that amount of money.

If we are so lucky, anything past that amount will go towards rent and electricity. We just really need to not lose this apartment while we transition. Anything would be helpful and I will be eternally grateful.
