My name is Celina Kinney and I am raising money for my dad , Juan Cruz Tobar. My father has always been a very proud man and has never really asked others for help. But it has come to that time, that he is asking for help.

In August, as he was getting ready to do a demo at Fort Worth Central Market, he lost his balance getting supplies out of his truck and fell. He thought, no big deal. He cleaned up some blood from the scratches and walked inside to do his demo. Those scratches never healed. In fact, it turned into a hematoma.
From that hematoma he had to go to the emergency room where they ended up performing surgery. He was in a rehabilitation center for over a month.
During his stay there they used a Negative Pressure Wounth Therapy machine on his leg. They have tried to get him approved for hyperbarics however Medicare keeps disapproving it.
At this point in time the only way to get him the hyperbarics is for him to pay for treatments on his own. Since he has not been able to work, those funds are low. Hyperbaric treatments run about $350 per session.
He is also in need of 2 different medications, but they are not covered and are extremely expensive. We have my dad on many prayer lists, and thanks be to God, those prayers are working slowly, but surely. My dad is doing everything he can to keep his leg. The doctors have all said that if does not start to heal, then the next step would be for his leg to be amputated. He has had many infections with his wound with the last infections being MRSA , citrobacter and acinetobacter.
