Hey guys,
I'm excited to announce that I've been selected to represent Team Canada at the prestigious IFMA World Championship Muay Thai tournament that will be held at Antalya, Turkiye this year from May 22nd to the 31st in the stacked 71kg Men's Elite division - having top athletes from all over the world.
It's an honour to be given this opportunity to compete on the world stage as I've devoted 13 years of my life to training, coaching and competing.
Under the expertise of Kru Yai Mikey Perez and Kru Bruce Ong, I have been able to compete against many elite athletes around North America, and with the skills I learned, I was able to showcase them in Thailand for my professional debut at the famous Rajadamnern Stadium last year winning by 1st round TKO.
Now it's only natural for me to follow this road I'm on against higher competition and show what I can do against the World's best, potentially getting the highly coveted IFMA Gold Medal.
With your support, this dream is achievable!
In Canada, the costs to compete at this level are put 100% on the athlete as there is no Federal or Provincial Funding for National Team Muay Thai Athletes.
Your financial support, however big or small is deeply appreciated and will help towards covering the costs of competition, which include:
- Travel and accommodation expenses
- Registration costs, uniforms, and accommodations during the tournament
- Physiotherapy, and other recovery / medical treatments leading up to the tournament
- Equipment and Nutritional Support costs
- Ground transportation and additional food costs in Turkiye !
I would love it if you could help support not only myself but also help bring the coaches who raised me to be the fighter I am today to the tournament so we can show the world what we're about!
With your help, we can aim to continue this professional journey as I can focus on training intensely for the next couple of months as your contributions can help me focus less on my financial obligations to pouring my 100% energy in the ring when the time comes in May.
Call it, a Force of a Team.
WE GOING FOR GOLD!
