Fighting Stage 4 Colon Cancer: Help Ziggy Get Chemotherapy
UPDATE:
Hi everyone. My brother has won and peacefully joined our Creator at 1:34am today 30th March 2025. Our family needs your help.
We need to urgently raise funds in order for Ziggy's body to be released from the hospital for us to have a wake.
We have to raise an estimate of $11,400. This includes fully paying the hospital bills and other funeral costs like embalming and cremation.
The hospital agreed for us to pay 50% to release Zephyr's body. What we urgently need is $7600 to get Ziggy and to prep the body for a funeral.
All previous donations we received went towards my brother's treatment. And with things happening so quickly, we have yet to recover financially.
May I please ask for support from whoever is able to donate, please? Any amount will do and will be forever appreciated by our family.

Please Help My Brother Zephyr Buenvenida Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
Hi everyone,
My name is Micah, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in saving my brother, Zephyr Buenvenida. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer (Adenocarcinoma), and our family is facing the hardest battle of our lives.
What started as bloating and stomach pain in January 2025, quickly turned into something far more serious. Zephyr was rushed to the Emergency Department on his birthday, January 29, and multiple test revealed his heartbreaking diagnosis.
Zephyr is not just my brother—he’s a loving husband, a devoted father, and a man with the biggest heart. He has two beautiful daughters, Maizie Buenvenida - 12 and Quinzie Buenvenida - 3 years old, who adore him. He has always worked hard to provide for them, making sure they feel safe and loved. But now, he is fighting for his life, and we are doing everything we can to give him a chance to keep being the incredible dad and husband he is.
The Harsh Reality in the Philippines:
Unfortunately, in the Philippines, battling cancer is almost impossible without money. There is no strong healthcare system to support cancer patients, and 7 out of 10 people diagnosed are forced to stop treatment simply because they can’t afford it. The cost of Zephyr’s treatment—including chemotherapy, hospital stays, and possible surgeries—ranges between $30,000 to $100,000. Without financial help, many patients are left to suffer with no options.
We Need Your Help:
Our family is doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone. Zephyr deserves a chance to fight, and with your kindness and generosity, we can help him get the treatment he needs.
Please consider donating—every single dollar makes a difference. If you’re unable to give, you can still help by sharing this page and keeping Zephyr in your prayers. Your support, in any form, means the world to us.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us fight for Zephyr’s life. We are forever grateful for your love and kindness.
With love,
Micah Tablac
