Help Me Fight for Sepsis Awareness!

Hi, my name is Lauren, and I’m excited to share that I will be participating in an MMA show this November to raise money for the Sepsis charity—an organisation that is incredibly close to my heart.

Eight years ago, I faced one of the scariest moments of my life when I went into labor with my son. I developed septic shock and was given just 20 minutes to live. Miraculously, I fought through this life-threatening infection and am grateful every day to be here, raising my beautiful son. Together me and my son, now participate and learn different styles of martial arts, creating an unstoppable bond.

However, not everyone is as fortunate as I am. Many individuals and families are affected by sepsis, and I believe there needs to be greater awareness about this serious condition. Through my participation in this MMA event, I hope to shine a light on sepsis and the importance of understanding and preventing it.
