Fighting MS with Stem Cell Therapy
I am going to use stem cell therapy to fight the diseases I have. The main ones are Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS), fibromyalgia, lymphedema, and hypothyroid. (Of course, there are more).
Finally, there is a local doctor doing the work right here in Richmond, Virginia. It costs about $10,300 for the multi-dose infusion but I will also probably lose some time working. I am hoping to raise enough to not add to the burden MS puts on my family.
If I am lucky it will mean I will regain walking, as now I use a wheelchair. If that happens, I'll be able to tutor longer hours and do better for my family and for those whom I support.
I am the director of Living for a Cure, a private online support group for folks with chronic illness. I am also Facebook friends with many others with chronic illness. My goal is to test this therapy for all of us. If it works for me, there's a good chance it will work for others. I am hoping I will be the first of a long line of us who can make forward progress against illness and towards good health.
