Hi, my name is James Ortega, and I’m reaching out for help during the hardest time of our lives. I’ve been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), which has made it almost impossible for me to work right now. My girlfriend is also battling cancer, and together we’re trying to stay strong not just for ourselves, but for my 10-year-old son.

We’re a small family doing everything we can to hold on, but the physical, emotional, and financial strain has become overwhelming. We’ve fallen behind on bills and are facing the real possibility of homelessness and every day feels like survival.

I’m currently working with Vocational Rehabilitation Services to find a job that fits my medical limitations, but it will take time. My goal is to become self-sufficient again and provide a stable, safe home for my son within two months

Right now, we need immediate help to cover basic expenses like rent, utilities, and food. I’m asking for $4,000 to get us through this critical time.
