Dave Goude - Fighting Motor Neurone Disease

2nd December 2019 the day our lives came crashing down & we found out that our Amazing Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Being told it is terminal and that there’s no cure broke all of our hearts and is just the worst feeling in the world, nobody deserves this dreadful disease but he is a fighter. He is incredible and has been so positive and strong since diagnosis and is always making us laugh like he always does. Seeing MND take a hold of him these past few months is heartbreaking but he’s so strong & positive he just gets on with it & is still the hilarious dad he is. Dad recently got in touch with the lads at D&H Developments to renovate grandads old house for him & mum to move in to given Dads very unfortunate diagnosis of MND. They have been amazing from the start & they have already done a lot of excellent work so far on the house. After meeting with Dad over the past few weeks they got in touch with us to say that they couldn’t stand back and want to help further. So after us all meeting up tonight they have all took it upon themselves to do a 140 mile bike ride from Barrow Town Hall to Blackpool Tower and back in October. Dad, mum, me and Lauren are obviously very overwhelmed by this. So if you can all help a very worthy cause to Dads page that would be great. We honestly can’t thank them enough and I know Dad will be very humbled ❤️
