Rob Jones is running the Wilmslow Half Marathon on the 12th September 2021 and then the Manchester Marathon on 10th October 2021. He is running in support of a Dutch based charity - Village of Peace, Afghanistan

Jaco Smit is a friend who has been working with Afghan people developing food security projects, teaching local Afghans new ways to farm as well as providing support for Afghan widows and orphans. Their projects and social enterprises are all led by passionate Afghan managers through training and coaching the local communities and empowering them to develop new ways towards a sustainable change.

The continuation of this work has become all the more crucial given the political unrest in Afghanistan and current plight of the Afghan people. Rob is committed to support the work of Village of Peace in their fight against malnutrition. All funds raised will go directly to Village of Peace.
