Anyone fortunate enough to meet Alexandra knows of her selflessness and determination to live a life of compassion, empathy, and love. She has always been driven to help others, but right now, she needs the help of us all. A few weeks ago, Alex was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-cell Lymphoma (PMBL), a rare cancer of the lymph nodes. This has come as a terrible surprise for everyone that will forever change the life of Alexandra and all her loved ones. 

So far, Alex has gone through numerous treatments including X-rays, CT-scans, ultrasounds, echocardiograms, blood tests, pericardium fluid drainages, a Port Line placement surgery, and multiple sessions of chemotherapy. Alex’s tumor is invasive and aggressive, for which she will continue to receive treatment for many months to come. These treatments are incredibly expensive but are essential for Alexandra’s care. Needless to say, these next couple of years will not be easy, which is why we are humbly asking for donations to help alleviate the financial hardship that Alexandra and her family will have to deal with. These donations will not only help pay for her treatments, but will also help cover other financial stresses like student loans, employment absence, and essentials for her and her mother (who is by her side 24/7). No donation is too small (even $5 helps!).

Despite everything, Alexandra is as optimistic as ever, shining her wonderful smile every single day. She continues to love and inspire everyone around her. She is an incredibly strong woman, and she will fight this thing until the very end. If anyone can beat this, it is her!

Alex continues to be loving and inspirational to everyone around her. She radiates positivity and is the light in all of our lives. Alexandra is a friend, girlfriend, daughter, sister, relative, caregiver, student, coworker, neighbor, classmate, and future nurse. Join the fight for Alex’s life. We will beat lymphoma, together!
