Fighting Lyme Disease for Chloe

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Adam, I have started this fund raiser for my partner Chloe. She suffers with Lyme Disease and many other illnesses.

The Lyme Disease she has is chronic which means she has had it long term and it has done more damage due to her never having had treatment.

She is now at a stage where she has deteriorated so much she can no longer work and earn money, or even get out of bed most days, she has a very poor quality of life. It is painful to witness her struggle every single day and have no form of relief. Seeing her struggle with depression and anxiety due to the illness stripping away every layer of her is heart breaking. She is not able to see loved ones and has no social life as every day is focused on survival and how to fight through the pain she is in 24/7.

Chloe has had to grieve for the person she aspired to be, as at 25 years old she imagined to be somewhere very different in life by now. Things are only getting worse for her and the reality of her getting her health back is scarily far away.

On average Lyme patients pay £40,980 per year out-of-pocket on treatment, but myself and Chloe do not have the finances to come anywhere near this unfortunately. Treatment for Lyme Disease from the NHS is just one course of antibiotics as they only receive 2% funding from the government. This course of antibiotics only helps treat people with early stage Lyme Disease so after this course Chloe continued to deteriorate, naturally. She had already spent what money she had on testing for her diagnosis as her local GP could not figure out what was happening. This alone was £2,000.

There is treatment out there but not one of them is cheap. Which is why Chloe needs all the help she can get in the hope of getting her life back.

The treatment she needs would be to see specialist doctors who combat Lyme Disease in a specialised clinic. The clinic is in Mexico and or Germany, and the type of treatment Chloe needs is only available in these Countries and would take 2-3 months for the full course.

There is not a deadline for the money to be raised, however the sooner she has it the sooner she can start on her journey of recovery.

The only thing stopping her from getting better is finances, so if you can please help change Chloe's life, she will then be able to start living.

Every little bit helps, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
