Hi everyone my name is Steve and I’m Kam’s uncle. As i stated in the Facebook post i would be starting this at some point hoping to raise money to help Cheyenne and her family get through this trying time!

For those just reading this… my niece Kamreigh was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer in children. In the last 2 1/2 weeks she went from going to the ER for headaches and vomiting, to having a lemon sized cancerous tumor removed from her brain. Her surgery went well and she was doing ok, then they found that they were having complications with it draining properly and had to monitor it closely to see if a shunt was needed. Since, Kam has been in as good of spirits as she could be under the circumstances. We were told they wanted to start a rigorous bout of radiation starting off 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Then see where we were at, then followed by chemotherapy. Which they stated could total a few months or even longer depending on success with the treatment.

Cheyenne reached out to St Jude’s children hospital in Tennessee on Sunday (4/7) via email. She got an email back on Monday (4/8) asking for details and then today Cheyenne got confirmation that Kam was accepted for treatment and they wanted to fly Cheyenne, Kevin and Kam down next week! St Jude’s covers all flights for the parents and patient as well as the stay, which is amazing!! While Cheyenne is away in Tennessee her two boys and infant daughter will be back here in NY away from their mother while she fights for Kam! ❤️ We as a family will do everything combined that we can to take care of her other babies for her! But Cheyenne will be out of work until this is over! Her employer was gracious enough to pay her for the last two weeks that her and Kevin were in the hospital with Kam but unfortunately the fight isn’t over!

This is where i need your help! We want Cheyenne and Kevin to be able to focus on the health of Kam and not worry about anything else! I can’t even imagine what that feels like nor do I want to know! This is why I’m starting this because we want to help any way possible to make it as painless as we can!

If any of you know Cheyenne personally you know she wouldn’t ask for anything. But if you know me you know I’m not going to just accept that. I hope that none of us are ever in this spot ourselves.
