Fighting Heart Failure: Need Your Help
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I never thought I’d be in this position—fighting for my life and asking for help. But today, I have no choice but to reach out with all the hope I have left.
As some of you know, I have been diagnosed with heart failure, and my heart is currently functioning at only 10%. A heart transplant is my only chance of survival. After months of rigorous testing, I finally qualify to be placed on the transplant list. My surgeon told me that once I’m officially on the list, my surgery could happen within six months.
However, there’s one more hurdle I have to overcome—I am too weak to endure the transplant right now. After undergoing stent surgery in January, my body is still recovering, and my doctor had me start physical therapy to help regain strength. But on March 3rd, after feeling unwell at a PT session, I was sent to the ER. That moment made me realize just how much healing my body still needs before I can safely undergo this life-saving surgery.
In my search for solutions, I found alternative medical treatments that could help strengthen my heart and body, giving me the best possible chance at survival. But these treatments aren’t covered by insurance.
On top of my medical expenses, I’m also facing a heavy financial burden. My hospital is in San Diego, and I’m required to stay there for a month before and two months after surgery. That means I must secure housing near the hospital while still covering my rent, utilities, and living expenses back home. Balancing these costs while trying to focus on my health feels impossible.
I am humbly asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to the care I need to survive. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing my story would mean the world to me.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your kindness, generosity, and support are giving me the strength to keep fighting.
