Fighting/ Fundraising for a Cause

Donation protected
There comes a time in our life where we all have to fight for a cause or help support the fight for a love one. Well at this great moment, this is my mission. Over a month ago, my aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Weeks later, there were spots found on her lungs, which may also be cancerous. This was very hurtful to my family to hear such bad news.  My grandmother, a breast cancer survivor,  has 15 children, 9 girls and 6 boys, so for this monstrous disease to hit home again, I am honored to help fight the cause. My aunt is a very loving and caring person. She is a mother, educator and she fights hard for those that have special needs. So now, we must fight that same battle with her as she has a special need also.  Last week she started Chemo and to see her weak and scared really saddens my heart. I know how it feels to be at your lowest point in life and then to worry about how bills are going to get paid in the meantime. This could become very stressful and we all know that stress and cancer are not friends.  She will have to be out of work for a while but that doesn’t mean that the bills will stop coming. We all know that being an educator is hard job but is one of the lowest paying jobs in history.  She has always been passionate about teaching and helping youth and adolescents with special needs even when that salary did not cover 100% of her bills. But to now have half of that salary gone, due to an illness is very hurtful. I am asking my facebook friends, softball friends, kickball friends, OES ( Eastern Star) family and sorority sisters to help me help her so that she can focus on the fight and not financial setback that this fight will cause. No amount is too small and any little donation will not be overlooked. I sincerely pray that my goal of $5,000 be reached as this will help cover her rent, travel expenses, utilities and any copays that her insurance will not cover. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and please continue to pray for my aunt. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen and by faith all things are possible. Therefore, with faith her battle is already won. Thanks.
