Firstly thank you to those that have donated. Please read below
I am asking for help to set up a fighting fund to take Anne Hamilton Byrne to court over the multitude domestic violence acts she committed on children she called her own, myself being one of them. As some of you are aware I grew up in the religious cult called 'The Family' who physically and emotionally abused us our entire childhood lives. Last year the film on 'The Family was released and a second book was published regarding our lives which in itself has had a negative impact on many of us bringing the trauma of the past back up again.
Now I am starting a class action against her so she and all those that were attached to her cult understand it's not ok to physically and emotionally abuse children in their care or turn a blind eye to it. Unfortunatly this costs money which I don't have. I am looking to raise around $6800 to start with, which will help with the first process which is the VCAT hearing in a couple of weeks. Please help us get some justice even if it's only the satisfaction to show them that's it's NOT OK.
