"Wow, where do I begin? I guess I'll start at the beginning... I was still breastfeeding my youngest son. I noticed something not quite right so went into the doctors thinking that I would come out of there with a prescription for antibiotics and a pamphlet on how to treat mastitis, wow was I shocked when they instead referred me to get some additional tests. In a matter of a week my whole life changed, I was diagnosed with Stage IIIa breast cancer. Now everything is happening so fast...tests, surgeries, treatments...my head is spinning! I know deep down that I am a survivor, and I will fight. So...Thanks for helping me and my family while I stay busy doing just that, fighting! God bless :-)"

When my wife Sarah was diagnosed with a fast growing, aggressive Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer in early October we were devastated.  We knew she had a fight ahead of her and at first it seemed too hard to handle. She holds the love she has for her 3 beautiful children (aged 21 mo, 4, & 18) and family very close to her heart and they give her the strength to fight.  With two of the three children under the age of five, being a devoted mother and homemaker for the last two years has meant a one income family. Having already started Chemo Therapy the bills for treatment, doctors’ appointments and prescriptions have started to build up. Time off from work to help with treatments and appointments has taken time and money away from our one income family. Sarah's future holds at least 20 weeks of Chemo Therapy, total Mastectomy surgery with Lymph node dissection, and radiation therapy.

Boom I have cancer, boom I have 2 large tumors, boom it has spread to multiple lymph nodes...stage IIIa breast cancer. Chemo, surgery, and radiation this is my life but I am a fighter and I will survive this!"

"When my mother was told she had cancer, I was sitting there in the car when she got the call. I watched as she broke down crying and almost instantly, I knew what it was. She had told me previously that she may have cancer, but I didn't want to believe it. The news broke my heart. After finding out she had stage 3 a, I made sure I would be there for her, no matter what would happen. My Mom is my best friend, even if we are 21 years apart, and watching someone close to your heart cry, makes you wanna break down too. It would mean the world to me if you'd help us. I love her. I know she will fight her hardest. I believe in her. " (Hanna 18)

Keeping the stress of debt from Sarah's mind will help in the fight and healing process with this battle she is taking on. We can't find the words to thank you enough for the help and love you give us in this trying time. It means the world to us and we will forever hold you in our hearts.
