For now, we are choosing to remain anonymous because this custody case is still active and ongoing, and we want to protect everyone involved — especially the child at the center of it all.

While we can’t publicly share every detail yet, we hope that one day, when this litigation is finally over and healing has had a chance to begin, we’ll be able to openly share the full story and everything our family has endured throughout this journey.

What we can say is this:

Our sister has spent the last year and a half fighting an emotionally and financially devastating custody battle after years of isolation, control, and abuse. Despite everything she has faced, she continues to show up every single day for her son with love, strength, and determination.

This fight has completely drained her financially through attorney fees, court costs, loans, and ongoing legal expenses, and our family is doing everything we can to help her continue fighting for her child and for a stable future.
