My name is Nicole Rice and I am raising money for Noelani and her family with any upcoming costs. I have known her for many years and she is one of the kindest and strongest people I have ever known. Her faith is incredibly strong and any prayers for her and her family along with any donations are appreciated! Noelani is married to Jeff and a Mother of two wonderful children named Matt and Ellie.
Noelani was diagnosed with Breast Cancer January 17th, 2017 and just celebrated her two year Survivor on January 17th of this year. Now, as of this past Friday she was told she has cancer again.
From her words:
I thought I had a strained muscle then after seeing the chiro a few times it wasn't improving. So we decided to contact my dr about getting images to see if I have a herniated disc in my neck causing the pain. Thursday night I had an MRI on my cspine. My dr called me at 8am yesterday saying that my cancer has returned and they need to do a bunch more tests to see how much of my body is affected. My oncology team is already in place with a plan.
She is going to be having full brain and spinal cord radiation (10 rounds) starting on Thursday, February 21st. They found 1 large mass 3cmx3cm and several small ones found in my cerebral area and brain covering. Also, mets along spinal covering.
No other cancer found in the rest of her body.
Noelani has notified me that this is a very rapid growing cancer and is affecting her mobility and giving her full body weakness. Also, this is affecting her memory and speech already. She is in a great deal of pain all over her body.
She has told me that with the worst outcomes she had a couple weeks and best outcome a couple months. We have lots of faith and are hoping and praying for a miracle that she will overcome this.
