Fighting for my Life
Donation protected
Hi there. Thanks for taking a minute to read my story - the fight I am in right now and how you can help. Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I am 53 years old and thought I was healthy. I don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I eat healthy, am of
a moderate weight and went in for my yearly checkups. But, even with all that, cancer found me. Pancreatic Cancer to be exact. I had no symptoms and no idea anything was wrong until an annual liver test showed elevated enzymes. Three weeks later, I was in the ER with jaundice and a few weeks later, diagnosed with cancer. The photo above is what I looked like before I was diagnosed. You would never know that I have cancer by looking at this picture. I am hoping, when I recover from this challenge, to look like this again -- happy and healthy. I have been through 6 months of chemo, radiation and now I'm waiting to see what my next course of action will be. I am a very stubborn person and refuse to let this cancer win. I will beat this bastard! Sadly though, when you become sick, surviving and living becomes very expensive. I was laid off and no longer have health insurance. After COBRA ran out I had to go on Medicaid. I thought everything was covered, but it wasn't and now I owe thousands of dollars in medical bills. This will continue as treatment does. This is where you come in. I need help in paying these bills, and any future ones that I will acrue. Without employment, I have no available funds to do this on my own. I know that Covid makes this an extremely hard time and has caused great stress and strain on everyone, but if can find yourself able to help and send a donation, it would really help. You would be helping me to continue my fight, helping to save my life. Please do what you can? Please help me, Please? Thank you for your time, your consideration and thank you for any help you can give. Xoxo
