Fighting for Mary-Kate Corbett's life
Donation protected
My best friend/sister Mary-Kate has fallen very ill and needs our help. The morning of October 22, 2020 she was found on the floor incoherent. Upon arriving at the hospital they said her blood sugar was almost 1200 and she was unresponsive. We really got no info except for they think she has a rare autoimmune anemia or blood cancer. They transfered her to Rochester General to see a blood specialist. She was placed on a ventilator, has a picc line, is on dialysis as her kidneys stopped working, her toes are turning blue and they think she has a blood clot, she is under a cooling blanket since they can't get her fever below 101. She has recieved several blood transfusions and her levels are still low and her white blood cells are elevated beyond that of someone with a deadly infection, her red blood cells are shaped different but have no answers. They have taken her off all meds that will make her sleep. They are doing a bone marrow biopsy to check for leukemia. She needs our help to get better. If she pulls through, this will be used for any bills she has so she dont need to worry and if not it will be used for the worst expense ever. I really hope we can all pull together and help her fight this battle. She needs us now more than ever. Please pray for her to keep fighting. We need her to make it through this.
