My wife Marisol is 50 years old, and for nearly a decade, we have been fighting cancer together, on and off, through remissions and relapses, through hope and heartbreak. Through every treatment, every hard day, every moment of uncertainty, I have been right there holding her hand, and she has never stopped being the most lively, creative, spontaneous, and loving person I know. She lights up every room she enters. She is a devoted mother to our 13-year-old, and she is someone worth fighting for with everything we have.

Now, the disease has metastasized to her liver, and her care needs have grown significantly. Marisol now requires home nursing visits, a bedside commode, a new shower chair, medical expenses and transportation. On top of that, we are bracing for unexpected emergency medical expenses that come without warning.

Our goal is $5,000, money that will go directly toward keeping Marisol comfortable, cared for, and cover her needs at home. Every single dollar will be used for her care, her medications, her equipment, her transportation, and the expenses that keep catching us off guard.

Mi esposa Marisol tiene 50 años, y por casi una década hemos luchado juntos contra el cáncer, con altas y bajas, entre remisiones y recaídas, entre esperanza y dolor.

En cada tratamiento, en cada día difícil, en cada momento de incertidumbre, he estado ahí tomándole la mano, y ella nunca ha dejado de ser la persona más alegre, creativa, espontánea y amorosa que conozco. Ilumina cada lugar al que llega. Es una madre dedicada a nuestro hijo de 13 años, y es alguien por quien vale la pena luchar con todo lo que tenemos.

Ahora, la enfermedad ha hecho metástasis en su hígado, y sus necesidades de cuidado han aumentado significativamente. Marisol ahora necesita visitas de enfermería en casa, un inodoro de cabecera, una silla de ducha nueva, gastos médicos y transporte.
