My name is Ioana, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

My former high school teacher, Gabriela, is one of the kindest and strongest people I know. Today, her family is facing an unimaginable battle—her sister, Violeta, is fighting cancer.

Violeta is not just a patient. She is a mother to a young daughter, a sister, and a woman who still has so much life ahead of her. For the past 3 years, she has been fighting this illness with incredible courage and dignity.

She has already gone through three major surgeries—breast, thyroid, and brain surgery. Each time, she has faced pain, fear, and uncertainty, yet she never gave up.

Until now, her family has done everything they could on their own. They stayed strong, fought in silence, and held onto hope. But after years of treatment, their financial resources are exhausted.

Now, Violeta is facing her hardest battle yet.

Her only remaining chance is to continue life-saving treatment in Turkey. This treatment offers hope—but it comes at a cost her family can no longer afford alone.
