Help Us Save Our Baby ❤️ – Every Moment Counts
Hi everyone. My name is Angelica and I am 21 weeks pregnant. I am currently admitted at St. Luke’s medical center. My family had to urgently travel to the Philippines, hopeful to get answers on the diagnosis my doctor from Guam had told us.
Our baby is a warrior and has been fighting, a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat if I may add. Our baby is what keeps my husband and I strong and keep going with this journey.
We’re facing the most difficult time in our lives. On July 18, 2025, we had a doctor’s appointment, which we were supposed to find out the gender of our baby. Instead, we received the most unexpected news. My doctor in Guam had informed my husband and I that baby had no amniotic fluid. With this condition, it would not be safe for baby and I. This would have caused infections to both of us and baby wouldn’t develop well. My doctor wanted to prepare that same day to induce labor. We were not reassured that baby will survive due to no doctors on island that would specialized in our case. Our baby would’ve been born prematurely and with no guarantee that he/she will survive. Our hearts were shattered. My doctor wanted to send us right away to Guam Memorial Hospital to do the procedure that same day. And with the overflowing of emotions, my husband and I decided to leave the clinic and just let the information that we received to sync in.
After leaving that clinic and the amount of support close friends and family. We got the courage to get a second opinion in the Philippines at St. Luke’s Medical Center on Monday July 21,2025.Here, they provided the outmost care and not once mentioned to induce labor or remove baby. I am now receiving the proper care for baby and I. The doctors and nurses are doing everything they can. I was informed that, I in fact had amniotic fluid but was just very low. They’re now giving me the fluids baby had lost and running all the test and treating everything that needs to be treated to prolong my pregnancy. Which is now leaving us no choice but to stay in the Philippines throughout the rest of my pregnancy so our baby and I can get the best care we can and also because it would be too risky for me to be flying in my situation.
We're doing everything we can, but the medical costs are overwhelming especially with no insurance — from hospital stays and medications and ongoing care. We never imagined we’d be here, asking for help, but we can’t do this alone.
If you're able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to our family. And if you can’t give, please consider sharing our story. Every dollar, every prayer, and every share helps us get closer to giving our baby a chance to heal and grow.
Donate, Share, or Pray – anything helps.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so grateful for your love and support.
With hope,
