Over the weekend, Jimmy was suddenly feeling fatigued and had a severe migraine-like headache, dizziness, crossed eyed and double vision. He slept most of the day Sunday which is unheard of.  So when he woke up they ran to urgent care as he thought it was another sinus/ear infection. Turns out is was much more than that or a migraine. After two trips to the ER and the ophthalmologist; they learned it was a "spot" deep in his brain.

After more tests, talk of tumors and cancer we have since learned that he has a vessel abnormality called a cavernoma. The complex part is that it sits on or near the brain stem which controls the Central Nervous System.

Due to the location of it surgery is very risky so we are in a wait and see. The bleeding should cease and the swelling dissipate and hope that his symptoms (headache and double vision) clear. This can take time and we are working to manage his pain as any movement or opening his eyes at this time is excruciating.

He will have more labs and scans to monitor progress. As of yesterday, he has now developed hydrocephalus, which is swelling of the brain. A tube was placed to release the pressure and fluid.

Carrie,  Jimmys wife is juggling hospital bills, the kids and being a wife during this difficult time. Much love to Jimmy and the family ❤️
