Fighting for Leeny
Donation protected
As you probably know by now, our daughter Colleen was diagnosed with breast cancer on October 3rd. She is a single lady and has always worked hard to take care of herself. The past 11 years she has worked (mostly alone) as a catastrophe adjuster, handling ladders and climbing roof to assess insurance claims. This has been extremely difficult on her due to a back injury originating from a car accident when she was just 11 years old. That injury flared back up in recent years and resulted in another surgery in September 2018.
Now she is facing the fight of her life with breast cancer and can not work to support herself. She has been a responsible person providing her own health insurance in spite of the crazy high premiums. Even though she has insurance, she still has to meet an out of pocket of $6000 per calendar year. Her treatments will run through both years totally $12000. This is in addition to the household expenses that go on monthly. We are seeking help through some breast cancer charities as well, but they can only help so much.
If you cant donate please Pray and SHARE this post to spread awareness to others who may be inclined to help. Please don't discount the power of prayer. She needs both to get through this.
Thank you in advance for your kindness, friendships and love you show to her and her family as we face this together.
