Kat’s Fight Is On!!

Hello, my name is Claudine Gaughan and my dearest friend Kathleen McGough Evans needs your help. In 2013 she was diagnosed with breast cancer at which time she underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. It was brutal, she is a warrior. She has been in remission for 8 years until recently when she was experiencing back pain and went for diagnostic testing which revealed the cancer had metastasized throughout her body. Her initial treatment was not successful so she is beginning a trial at Penn. She will travel to Philadelphia a few times each week for the next 3 months. Kathleen, a West Scranton alumni , is married to JW Evans and they have two amazing girls Fione and Kate. She is a stellar mother, daughter, sister and friend.
