Fighting for Joseph - Cancer Journey

Dear Family, Friends, and Compassionate Supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share news about our beloved family member, Joseph Granata. After experiencing unexpected seizures on June 2nd, Joseph received a life-altering diagnosis: lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain.

Joseph has undergone surgery to remove one of the two tumors from his brain. While the surgery was successful and gave him a fighting chance, it is only the beginning of the difficult journey that lies ahead.

Joseph will begin intensive cancer treatments at the end of this month, which will include chemotherapy and radiation. He will undergo ongoing brain scans, treatments, and specialist appointments. Additional expenses not covered by insurance will begin to accrue, including travel, lodging, copays, and more. His inability to work will greatly affect his family's finances. Additionally, he cannot drive during this time, which means his wife, Kelly, and their daughters will need to take time off work to accommodate his treatment plan, adding to the financial burden.

Joseph is a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a great friend to many. He is someone who readily offers assistance to those in need. Now, Joseph and his family could use our assistance.
