***(CONTINÚA EN ESPAÑOL ⬇️⬇️⬇️ )*** ENGLISH : Hi all, I am doing this fundraising for my friend her name is Iris Anais. She is 35 years old from Mexico, and last February she was pregnant and diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Her story started simply with symptoms that she wouldn't imagine that were signs of cancer. After several weeks of pain she went to the hospital with shortness of breath and a terrible cough that would not let her even eat. Like many other women of her age she was happy and healthy with the best future ahead she was pregnant with a little baby girl her name was going to be Marely, after many years of trying she was finally pregnant. But in her 5th month of pregnancy she started with the symptoms and her suffering growth every day but she didn't want to put her baby at risk with x-ray or tests so she refused to look after the pain for weeks, but that pain and suffering was unbearable. She was in the hospital for nearly 2 months, hardest time of her life of fighting for her life where she went through surgery after surgery, one of them was to take her little angel away from her who couldn't start life, while Iris was connected to machines and tubes to support her life. Mommy and baby couldn't say goodbye. She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma . Since endless battles against infections and more procedures to make her days a bit less painful have been going on. She has tracheostomy for breathing and gastrectomy for eating, which is basically liquid food that goes into her stomach through a tube, special food is needed "super food" and supplements to keep her stronger every 3 hours is recommended, each sachet costs €15 euros approximately this sums up €90 euro per day. The next tests she has to get done are to detect tumor mass and is called PET costs €€2000. So far the last treatments she has received have been at the IMSS (public health care in Mexico) because of the high cost of the private sector. But she is still needs to be monitored by specialists privately $$$. Private health care treatment is €3,500 which would be much better for her to get, but unfortunately her health insurance cut off her credit before she was released from the hospital and she was left with a big debt Today she needs all your help to continue with her chemotherapy treatments, tests/exams, medicines (one single dose of medicine is €800), doctor, sachets and many other expenses. Please donate or share this post and we will thank you always. Fernanda G. Fighting for Iris Team.
