Jessica's Story...
Our beautiful sister Jessica has been fighting for her life from complications of having Lupus for almost 20 years. Lupus, is an incurable inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues. Throughout the years, this disease has slowly taken its toll on our sister's body and health.
After several years of being diagnosed, Lupus, unfortunately, caused other complications such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, chronic fatigue, debilitating inflammation throughout her body and her recent diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. Our sister is a true warrior having battled these diseases on a daily basis, in and out of appointments, Chemo transfusions and dealing with extreme pain for several years.
She is currently in the hospital, this now being her 4th stay since August of 2022, and we are 23 days in. We have been told to prepare for the worst in the coming days. As Lupus has completely taken over every cell of her body and
and has left us with no other option than to pray for a miracle.
We are asking for help with the months and months of medical bills, which have quickly piled up. This would include her current stay, which is now leading to Palliative At Home Care to make her last days as comfortable as possible. As we're preparing for the worst, the funds raised would also go towards funeral arrangements and relieving her family of the stress and worry of losing a loved one.
Should we be granted this miracle and our sister survives, that money would be used for her care and recovery, as it will take a team to bring her back to the Jessica we knew before this summer.
We thank you in advance for your contribution and for sharing our story; we are eternally grateful.
