Fighting for Grant

Donation protected

Grant Hock was born on Feb 24, 2017.  His mom Karah and dad Gabe are processing the unimaginable right now.  Grant has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the soft-tissue/muscles, that was discovered while he was being treated for an ear infection.  The tumor is progressing rapidly, and immediate action is being taken.  Grant has had surgery to debulk the tumor, but it is already growing back.  He will have a port placed and will begin chemotherapy in the next few days, followed with more surgery and radiation therapy.

The news is devastating, to his family and to their friends.  Grant’s medical team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital is preparing his treatment plan and readying for battle.  There will be many hospital stays, many trips to and from treatment, and many sleepless nights as Karah and Gabe do all in their power to help Grant fight the monster that is Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Grant’s friends are preparing to support his parents, and his big brother and sister, in every way that we can.  Please join Grant’s Warriors in supporting the Hock family as they navigate this long and winding road.  We are collecting donations to help the Hock family with travel expenses, cover lost wages, and try to keep things as normal as possible for Grant’s siblings as they all focus on helping baby Grant.  Your contribution is much appreciated.
