Supporting Ellenora Aliguyon's Family
Donation protected
It is with heavy heart, I write this about my aunt Ellenora Alliguyon who was recently diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer March 2019. She initially presented with lower pelvic pain and after a 1 1/2 month of taking pain medicine and undergoing blood work, imaging and biopsies she was found to have pancreatic cancer with evidence of metastasis to her liver. She began chemotherapy March 29, 2019. She is to complete 9 sessions to last until 12/2019. This involves weekly sessions with a week rest after three sessions per month. Followed by CT scan of the pancreas and liver after each session to monitor the mass size.
She was born and raised in a beautiful mountain province of the Philippines. Unfortunately medical care is limited and she is having to receive treatment 10 hours from her residence. In addition medical insurance is not provided and therefore all her fees are being paid out of pocket and in cash, making this situation even more difficulty. Currently her 3 sons, husband, family and community have paid $25,000 of her medical fees.
We are requesting funds to assist in the all aspects of her care. This includes hospital fees, medications, hotel fees, transportation, food and around the clock supervision.
My aunt has chosen to start chemotherapy with great hope to get relief from the physical pain she experiences every day. And most importantly to maintain the ability to function and enjoy her remaining time with her family and grandkids. We appreciate any small donation you may be able to give. Thank you in advance for blessing our family and may you please keep our family in your prayers.
