Help Us Fight for our Niece

Our family is facing an urgent and heartbreaking situation, and we are asking for your support.

We currently seeking custody and kinship placement of my six year old niece following the tragic loss of her father, our brother, Jesus Rivera Martinez, on November 18, 2025. This has become a complicated legal matter that requires experienced legal representation, and the costs are more than our family can manage alone.

We are raising funds to help retain an attorney for my parents as they fight for the well-being and future of our niece. As her paternal aunts, we unfortunately do not have the legal standing necessary to take action ourselves. Because of this, my parents are stepping forward and doing everything they can to advocate for her and pursue the legal process needed to protect her best interests.

The legal system can be overwhelming and expensive, but we refuse to give up on her. We are seeking to raise $5,000 to cover attorney retainers, court fees, and other legal expenses associated with this case. Securing legal representation is our first and most urgent step.

This journey has been emotionally and financially challenging for our family, but our love for our niece gives us the strength to keep fighting. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to getting the legal help we need.
