Fighting for Paisleigh's life: Help Beat Leukemia Together

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Souls,

We come to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for help. On May 7th, 2024 our precious 11-month-old baby Paisleigh was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) with RAM Immunophenotype, and our world has been shattered into a million pieces. This news has left us completely heart broken, distraught and on our knees with God. A parent should never have to witness their child fighting for their own life at such a young age.

Just a few weeks ago, our sweet baby was laughing and playing without a care in the world. But now, instead of joyful giggles, our days are filled with tears, uncertainty, and fear. Leukemia has stolen our baby's innocence and threatened to rob us of our future together.

AML with RAM Immunophenotype leukemia only effects 2-3% of pediatric luekemia cases, is more resilient to chemotherapy, and will result in a bone marrow transplant. As a result Mavi, Paisleigh's mom was forced take a leave of absence from work to care for Paisleigh in the hospital, while Nathan, Paisleigh's dad takes care of her 3 older brothers Brayden, Lincoln and Dylan at home. This is going to be a minimum 1 year battle, with a lengthy stay at Sick Kids in Toronto after her stay at McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton.

As we navigate this nightmare, we are asking for any donations your hearts are willing to give in order to help with monthly bills, housing, transportation, basic daily needs etc. with the harsh reality that time is not on our side. Every day is a battle, and we are fighting tooth and nail to keep our baby alive.

With your support, we can ease the financial burden that weighs heavily on our shoulders and focus on what truly matters - saving our baby's life and give her a chance to grow up, laugh, and chase dreams like every child deserves.

All donations that exceed our goal will be donated to McMaster Children's Hospital, Sick Kids in Toronto. Also to We Fund Care, Help A Child Smile, Hamilton Optimist Club, Starlight Children's Foundation and Pogo for their help and toy donations early on in this battle. We thank God everyday for the amazing nurses and doctors we have be blessed to meet and deal with at McMaster Children's Hospital, which has helped ease the process somewhat and we want to give back.
