Our dear friend, and member of our Centennial family, Ayary Marroquin, has been bravely battling a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer (Metaplastic Triple Negative) for the past two and a half years. When she was first diagnosed, in early 2021, she was on maternity leave.

Ayary immediately began treatment, undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. After two long years, Ayary finally completed her treatments last December, eager to put cancer behind her and spend precious time with her family, including her two young sons, Luka, age 4 and Stefan, age 3.

But just a few weeks into the new year, Ayary began experiencing a number of troubling symptoms that were difficult to diagnose. Despite her concerns, Ayary's doctors gave her the green light to return to work. However, Ayary could tell that something wasn't right, and her symptoms persisted over the coming months.

Unfortunately, in April, Ayary received the devastating news that her cancer had spread to her eyes, brain, lymph nodes, lungs, and bones. We were all heartbroken to learn this, but Ayary is a fighter, and she is not giving up. Her fierce determination to beat this terrible disease has been an inspiration to everyone who knows her.

Ayary is now in the fight of her life, undergoing new treatments that are taking a major toll on her and her family. Expenses are mounting, and with Ayary unable to work, financial struggles are exacerbating an already difficult situation.

That's why we're asking for your help. Our dear friend Ayary needs our support now more than ever. She is an amazing mother, partner, and friend, and she deserves a chance to continue her battle without the added burden of financial hardship.
